PLEASE READ THIS WHETHER YOU ARE A SMOKER OR NOT! Due to liability concerns regarding health risks from involuntary second-hand smoke, the Northgate Executive Center managment has informed us of some additional restrictions on smoking areas. In order to insure that no client or visitor to the office complex is forced to unwillingly risk smoke inhalation, smoking must be done either A) in the new isolated smoke area, or B) in current areas wearing a smoker identification banner. By agreement with Northgate mall, Executive Center employees are now allowed to smoke in the Northgate Mall South Parking lot.

This is the lot between the mall and the offices which frequently hosts RV shows and etc. Smoking in this area may be done without a banner, however the rights do not extend to parking and you may not take your car into this area (you will be towed).

In areas on the Executive Center grounds, such as outside the west entry of our building, smoking is allowed only while wearing a smoking banner. These lightweight orange flags, similar to those, sometimes seen on the rear of bicycles, will help non-smokers to readily identify areas in which people are smoking. The banners easily clip onto your pants or skirt. FourGen will have a limited number of banners in the reception area to borrow while you smoke, or you can purchase your own to keep clipped on at all times for $9.

Non-smokers are advised that if an alternate route without smokers is not available, you may contact the Executive Center Maintenance Department, who will temporarily clear the area and escort you to your vehicle.

The Northgate Executive Center management wishes to thank you all for your assistance in protecting the rights and cooperation of smokers and non-smokers.
